WeLoveKeys.comGeneral Terms and Conditions of Sale
Article 1: Preamble
WeLoveKeys.com (hereinafter, 'the site') is published by Informasur, a limited liability company (SARL) having its head office in Lyon (69), entered in the Lyon Trade Register (RCS) under number B753 883 297, SIRET number: 753 883 297 00016. In placing an order on the Site, customers unreservedly agree to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. These terms and conditions are submitted for customers' agreement at the order confirmation stage. They are also sent to customers with the order confirmation email. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale also constitute a reference document binding the customer and Informasur.
Article 2: Placing an order at WeLoveKeys.com
Customers may place an order on the www.WeLoveKeys.com web site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We do not take any orders by telephone.
Article 3: Product condition
Not all keyboard keys sold on www.WeLoveKeys.com are new as they come from unserviceable keyboards. All of these keys have been carefully cleaned and sorted. Only keys in excellent condition have been set aside to sell. Thus when placing an order, buyers are aware that any keys they purchase are reconditioned. Moreover, the Site homepage includes a statement of its commitment to protecting the environment.
Article 4: Product availability
All keys are sold subject to availability, depending on the quantity and range of products in stock. If a product is out of stock we undertake to notify the customer by email. If it is possible to restock within a reasonable time scale, we offer the option of delivering the order as quickly as possible. Otherwise a partial or total refund will be issued (depending on whether all or part of the order was out of stock). In any event, customers may opt for a full refund if they prefer.
Article 5: Prices and payment
All prices on the Site are given net in Euros (€) and exclude carriage costs. They are liable to change at any time. As Informasur is exempt from VAT, there is no VAT on the customer invoice. It is not possible for trade customers to reclaim VAT on invoices (Art. 293B of the French General Tax Code).
Products are payable in full on the day the order is placed. No orders are dispatched unless payment has been received.
- Bank cards (CB, Visa, MasterCard etc.): When making a payment, the customer is redirected to the bank chosen by Informasur. The customer will be debited for the value of the chosen products as stated on the site, together with shipping costs. Under no circumstances does the Site access or store the customer's bank details.
- Paypal accounts: Customers with a Paypal account may use this time-saving option. There is no need to enter bank details to make the payment.
- Bank transfer: When the order is confirmed, the customer receives a confirmation email with all the information necessary to make the transfer from their bank (online or at a branch). This type of payment takes longer to process as the transfer will only reach Informasur's account 24 to 72 hours later.
- Cheque: This is the payment method that takes the longest as it requires a letter to be sent by the customer, then processing by Informasur (cheques are cashed before orders are dispatched). As with transfers, the customer receives an email containing instructions for making the payment. The Site also reserves the right to reject a cheque for an excessive amount in the absence of a guarantee that it can be cashed. Any costs incurred in sending the cheque are payable by the customer and the Site disclaims all responsibility in the event of loss in transit. If a cheque is rejected by the Site's bank, a flat fee of €30 for administrative costs shall be payable by the customer.
Article 6: Delivery
The Site ships its products worldwide insofar as the Site offers shipments to countries located in the five continents. All orders are processed by La Poste (French postal service). Details of delivery methods are available on this page. Shipping costs include costs for preparing, packaging and posting orders.
The buyer is solely responsible for the delivery address supplied. The site declines all responsibility if the carrier is unable to deliver. If an order is returned because the carrier is unable to find the address or customers have not collected their orders in time, the Site reserves the right to ask customers to pay further shipping costs so that the order can be reshipped.
In the event that tracking shows that the order was delivered but nothing reached the customer, the Site will request additional information from the customer and must be able to rely on the latter's full cooperation in resolving the problem. No new order may be dispatched if tracking indicates that the order has been delivered.
Article 7: Cooling-off period
In accordance with the provisions of article L.121-16 of the French Consumer Code, a cooling-off period of 14 full days applies from the date on which the buyer receives the order. If this deadline falls on a Sunday or public holiday, it is automatically carried over to the next business day. The order must then be returned in good condition with a copy of the invoice (to facilitate identification upon receipt) for a refund. The buyer is liable for any costs and risks incurred in returning the items. We strongly recommend that the buyer chooses guaranteed and tracked delivery as no refund will be made if the order is returned damaged or if it is lost by the carrier freely chosen by the customer. The site shall not refund additional costs incurred if the customer has chosen a more expensive delivery option (SPECIAL DELIVERY) than the traditional delivery method (STANDARD) provided. In other words, the customer will always receive a refund amounting to the price of the product + the appropriate STANDARD delivery. The refund will be paid no later than 14 days after the cancellation request is made by the customer, provided that the product has been returned.
To cancel an order, the customer must fill out a request form on this page.
Article 8: Changing an order
Instead of a refund, buyers may also request to change the order during this 14-day period if an item is found not to be suitable. In this case, they must return the order in accordance with the last part of article 7. Any customer wishing to return an order must fill out a request form on this page. When changing an order, it is highly likely that the buyer will be asked to provide photos of the problem (if it concerns sale of keyboard keys) so that the Site can identify the right part. If customers refuse, they will simply be eligible for a refund if the conditions of article 7 are met.
Article 9: Delivery error
If the Site sends the wrong item(s), no action on the part of the customer is required. The new order will be sent out by the Site with a prepaid envelope enclosed for the return of the wrong item(s). Customers will receive a further invoice if they fail to return these items.
Article 10: Retention of Title clause
In accordance with act no. 80 336 of 1 May 1980, any products delivered to the customer are subject to a Retention of Title clause. Ownership of these products is only transferred when the customer has settled the invoice in full. However, the customer is responsible for items from the time they are delivered, as the transfer of ownership is equivalent to the transfer of risk.
Article 11: Warranty
All keys and fixing devices sold on WeLoveKeys.com are subject to an automatic three-month warranty from the date on which the order is placed. If a key or fixing device breaks during this period, the customer can obtain a replacement. The model to be changed must be exactly the same as the one purchased (same make, model, fixing system, key, etc.). Customers will not be asked to return the key or fastening if they can provide clear photographic evidence that the product is indeed broken. Otherwise, they must return the key at their own cost. This warranty does not cover any wear and tear to a key, any changes in colour or inscription due to exposure to light, or any melted keys/fixing devices.
Article 12: Disputes
All of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to French law. Informasur will always strive to reach an amicable solution to any dispute.
Article 13: Data protection
Article 14: Intellectual property
Any written works, graphics, logos, photos, videos etc. visible on the Site are the sole property of Informasur. No use of them by a third party will be tolerated unless express permission is requested in writing or by email. The Site reserves the right to grant or deny this authorisation. Being a customer of the company Informasur does not confer any intellectual property rights over the Site.
